A word that has been adopted by the polyamorous society, but the definition still holds true. Traditionally the term ‘OpenMinded’ has described the mindset of a person who does not dismiss ideas or concepts that may not fit within their preconceived ideas or notions.

In polyamorous terms, to be OpenMinded is to have an unrestricted and unbiased view on sexuality and life in general. People who are OpenMinded will often blur the lines of sexual preference and will constantly be willing to try new things throughout their lives.
