Soft Swinging

Pronunciation:

[sɑft ˈswɪŋɪŋ]

Definition

The custom of engaging in sexual activities with your partner in the same room as another couple, but not swapping or sharing partners.

Soft swinging is seen as the gateway to full swinging. It provides the opportunity for couples, who are new to the ‘swinging scene’, to become comfortable with engaging in sexual acts in front of others. Before they progress onto partner swapping and full swinging.

Example

Brad and Megan had been thinking about getting into swinging but they weren’t sure where they should start, they decided to take it slow. They wanted to find another couple who they could start soft swinging with.
